Why does Zveltio cost money if it's open source?
Zveltio is MIT-licensed and free forever. The platform isn't the product — *time* is. Paid tiers buy you our team's attention. Without that, our oncall would burn out on free support.
Can I move between tiers?
Yes, anytime. Upgrade or downgrade at the next billing cycle. No annual lock-in below Enterprise.
Do paid tiers get features that Community doesn't?
No. Every feature ships open-source. The only thing you buy is our team's time. We do not build a separate "enterprise edition" — same code, same extensions.
Who is behind support?
DaRe IT Systems S.R.L., a Romanian company. Support engineers are EU-based and operate on CET hours.
Where does the money go?
Engineering payroll, security audits, infrastructure for the public marketplace at apps.zveltio.com. We don't take VC money — paid support is how we stay independent.
